Hmmmm! This is a special message for a person with a big heart and a lot of courage – who has been there for me through thick and thin, tolerates me and holds me near even when others can’t. My BEST friend, my PRAYER WARRIOR, my SISTER, my ROCK, my CHEERLEADER, my CONFIDANT, my ANGEL, MY TWIN!!!
Where do I even start? You have held on to me when waters were stormy. My sun wouldn’t rise and my skies wouldn’t be so blue if not for you. You gave me wings and made me fly, after every failure, you encouraged me to step up and try again till I won. You made sure my siblings and I always had the best and are always the best, you instilled in us a background money cannot put a tab on. From Apata to Calabar to Maiduguri to Ijebu-Ode, you made sure we were good. You sacrificed soooo much to ensure that. May you enjoy more of the rewards of your sacrifice mummy. Amen.
For all my worries, your love has been the ultimate cure and for all my life’s pain, you have been the ultimate balm. You have always reminded me the importance of brushing off scars and always have a word to keep me going even when the word is a pill hard for me to swallow. 🙂 You taught me not to live my life based on what detractors think, and to always put God first in all what I do.
As a wife, mother and grandmother, you have been exceptional. You deserve recognition which is way above the rest, because you are a mother that stands the test of time. I am eternally grateful to God for using you as the ship that anchored me to this world.
For all the times that I forgot to “thank you”, for all the special, little things you do mum, for all the prayers that keep us going, for all the words that sometimes go unspoken, I am saying I LOVE YOU MUM….. I REALLY DO….THANK YOU! I know I got the BEST MOTHER in the lottery of life, and I am glad. Thank you for always being there mummy.
As you clock 75, may it be the continuation of all the wonderful things God has in store for you. May you live longer to enjoy the rewards of your sweat. Amen. Eni eleni ko ni gba ise yin se ooo. E ma jeun omo pe ninu alafia, emi gigun ati idunu ni agbara Edumare. Amin Jesu.
Yippee!!! 27,393 Days And Still Fabulous!
Happy 75th Birthday Mrs. Ibirogba! Love you Ma Mere. You are the BEST!
